The incumbent will be responsible for delivering comprehensive project‑controls services, monitoring performance through KPIs, and leading functions including risk, schedule, cost, scope and change management. They will influence senior stakeholders, serve as the primary day‑to‑day interface for the project team, and support the centre of expertise in developing and implementing PMO controls. All work will be aligned with client objectives, quality standards, and the conditions of appointment.
We are seeking Director‑level Project Controls professionals to lead services on major UK infrastructure projects and programmes across sectors such as rail, aviation, power, water/utilities, highways or defence. The role demands extensive experience in complex, large‑scale initiatives and the ability to manage end‑to‑end project‑controls delivery.
Candidates must hold a relevant technical degree and management qualifications, with proven experience in project‑control roles on construction projects. Expertise in planning and scheduling, cost management, risk and change control, and information management within complex projects is essential. The role also requires the ability to mentor and develop junior specialists and strong verbal and written communication skills.
