Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and annual safety inspections as required
Order and receive replacement or repair parts as directed and keep stock area in neat and tidy condition
Install and repair specialized vehicle accessories and safety equipment
Use hand tools to carry out maintenance and repair duties
Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently within the time allotted and in accordance with legislated standards
Diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment
Accurately complete forms, reports and input/retrieve information into Fleet Management System
May be required to perform emergency roadside repairs
Attend training courses as required

Must hold Ontario Vehicle Operator’s Permit Class “G” in good standing
Experience with diagnostic equipment, ie: scanners, digital meters, tire balancers, brake lathes, and AC filling and testing equipment
Must be able to read, write and understand English
Experience, preferably in Fleet Maintenance environment dealing with a variety of light and heavy vehicles and up to date on automotive electronics
Must be able to complete various work forms and prepare simple written reports
Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
Must hold a current Province of Ontario Motor Vehicle License 310T
