The company seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead HVAC and plumbing construction projects, overseeing planning, execution, and completion while meeting cost, schedule, quality, and safety goals. The role involves managing multiple full‑mechanical projects, supervising engineers and superintendents, and coordinating with field labor and design teams.
Key responsibilities include reviewing contracts and subcontracts, creating schedules of values and budgets, ensuring safety compliance, procuring materials and equipment, handling progress and subcontractor payments, and fostering client relationships for business development.
Financial duties cover protecting company interests by managing contract finances, loading estimates into cost systems, preparing billings to sustain cash flow, conducting cost and budget analysis, aiming for a 20 % over‑billing margin, closing out projects promptly, and managing lien processes when needed.
Required experience includes at least eight years in mechanical construction project management, a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent, proficiency with Timberline, MS Office, CAD, and multiple trades (HVAC, plumbing, building automation), and three years supervising PMs and PEs. Candidates must possess strong negotiation, scheduling, and communication skills and be able to prepare submittals and O&M manuals.
