Tasks
-Contribute to projects that serve veterans, military personnel, and federal agencies. -Participate in a wellness program promoting balanced lifestyles -Prepare detailed engineering documents, cost estimates, and design calculations. -Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, scopes of work, and federal RFP responses. -Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. -Participate in client meetings, site visits, and stakeholder presentations. -Ensure all designs meet VA standards, UFC, IBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, and other applicable codes and guidelines. -Lead mechanical design efforts for federal, healthcare, and institutional facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems. -Provide guidance and technical support to junior engineers. -Coordinate with architects, other engineering disciplines, and federal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems. -Advance your career through leadership roles, technical training, and exposure to high-profile federal clients. -Lead internal design reviews and quality control processes. -Build strong relationships with federal clients and partners. -Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

What You Bring
-6+ years of experience in mechanical design, with strong preference for VA, DoD, or healthcare facility experience. -Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC design software. -Strong communication skills and experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams. -Familiarity with VA design standards, federal project delivery processes, and commissioning protocols. -PE license (required). -Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
