Tasks

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced leader in the field of social value to shape and grow our social value advisory services across the UK to clients across the built environment sector. You will be industry-facing, representing Arup’s social value offer in the marketplace, act as Project Director on social value focused advisory projects and lead social value input into multi-disciplinary teams on nationally significant major projects. Our clients work in the built environment, and range from major UK developers, infrastructure providers to central and local government. Our current offer includes developing social value strategies, designing social value measurement and reporting frameworks, undertaking local needs analysis to inform an outcomes-based approach to projects and carrying out a range of assessments to inform project design including Equality Impact and socio-economic assessments. We're delivering this currently on some high-profile projects such as the British Library Extension in London, SESRO reservoir and the Great Grid Upgrade.
