Lighting Designer

Description

As a Lighting Designer here, you will work on next-gen smart home and automation concepts, alongside global lighting and design brands like iGuzzini, Sylcom, Lutron, Lodes, DCWéditions Paris, LED Linear and many more.

• Conduct precise lighting calculations to meet illuminance and energy efficiency standards.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants and clients to bring lighting visions to life.
• Stay updated on smart lighting technologies, control platforms and automation trends.
• Develop energy-efficient lighting designs that align with smart home goals and sustainability targets.
• Estimate quantities for lighting fixtures, sensors and control devices using Bluebeam Revu.
• Prepare comprehensive project submittals, specifications and documentation.
• Work on premium smart home automation projects with global technology exposure.
• Create detailed lighting layouts and simulations using DIALux EVO, AGI32, Visual Lighting, AutoCAD, and Photoshop.
• Integrate smart lighting controls including occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting and dimming systems.
• Collaborate with experts in automation, architecture and design innovation.

Requirements

We’re looking for a technically sound and detail-oriented Lighting Designer who can blend ambience, function and innovation seamlessly. If you’re someone who thrives on precision and creativity in equal measure, this is the role for you.

• Strong analytical skills for performance evaluations and compliance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, DIALux EVO, AGI32, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Excel.
• Good communication skills in English, Hindi & Marathi for regional coordination.
• Familiarity with smart control systems like Lutron, KNX, or similar.
• 0–2 years of hands-on experience in lighting design and estimation (smart home/architectural projects preferred).
• A 2-wheeler is mandatory for on-site visits.
• Experience preparing blueprints, shop drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience with international lighting codes or standards.
• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Illumination Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team.
