The HR Generalist will manage a wide variety of human‑resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, performance management, training, HRIS, and safety. The position also handles accounting duties such as monthly closing entries, general ledger analysis, and payroll processing.
Key responsibilities include implementing and interpreting HR policies, providing counsel to employees and managers, conducting cost‑effective recruitment, managing salary administration and performance appraisals, coordinating separations and exit interviews, maintaining compliant employee records, overseeing leaves of absence and workers’‑compensation claims, and ensuring accurate time‑and‑attendance reporting. The role also drives process improvements, supports culture initiatives, and stays current on employment legislation and HR trends.
A BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field and at least five years of HR management experience are required. Candidates must be knowledgeable about state and local labor laws, COBRA, ADA, FMLA, and related regulations, be detail‑oriented, able to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and possess strong MS Office and SuccessFactors skills. PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP/SCP certification is preferred.
The position offers a base salary of $105,000–$120,000 annually, plus bonus and profit sharing.
