Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers and is consulted extensively by associates and others with a high degree of reliance placed on scientific interpretations and advice.
Responsible for effectively meeting the Project schedules and able to suggest improvement methods for effective handling of Projects.
Under general supervision, independently applies advanced engineering techniques, makes decisions on engineering problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions or to negotiate with key Engineers and officials of other organizations.
Shall be able to lead a team of Engineers/Designers and to effectively communication/ work with other KBR Centers and Client; Willing to work as a Requisition Engineer as well if Project demands; Responsible for the hours estimate and hours allocation to the resources allocated to Project, based on the tasks and effective completion of the tasks within budgeted hours.

Hands-on experience with FEED and EPC/EPCM activities including but not limited preparation of Material Requisition, Technical Specification, Design using ASME, API and other International Codes/ Standard, Mechanical Data Sheets, Supplier offer review, Technical Bid Evaluation, Vendor Documents Review and Interfaces with Inter disciplines as required. At least 8 years of experience in EPC is preferred. Experience in fabrication Industry is a plus.
Willing to travel globally and undertake short term assignments with other KBR offices/ client offices or with project site facility as needed to support projects.
Experience in PMC projects (a plus).
Good oral and written communication skills.
Subject matter expert in Process Equipment that includes but not limited to Pressure Vessels, Spheres, Storage Tanks, Process Columns, Column Internals, Reactors, Scrubbers, Unfired Heat Transfer equipment, Electric Heaters, Silos, Bins, Mounded Vessels, Pig Launchers and Receivers.
Experience in the mechanical design of heat exchangers (a plus).
