Lead electrical work on capital projects, including reading schematics, reviewing plans, and coordinating with engineers, contractors, and other trades.
Maintain and update electrical documentation, including wiring diagrams, panel schedules, and asset records.
Assist with procurement of materials and tools needed for maintenance and project work.
Identify and recommend opportunities for system upgrades, energy efficiency improvements, and cost reductions.
Oversee and ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and site-specific safety standards.
Support commissioning and startup activities for new or modified equipment.
Coordinate with other departments to minimize production disruptions during maintenance or project work.
Plan, schedule, and execute electrical maintenance activities to ensure equipment and facility uptime.
Supervise, train, and coordinate work for electricians and apprentices performing maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial electrical systems.
Conduct job safety analyses (JSAs) and enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures.
Provide regular progress reports to management on maintenance performance and project status.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment such as motors, drives, control panels, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, PLCs, and instrumentation.

5+ years
Experience with VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs.
Demonstrated knowledge of industrial electrical systems up to 480V (or higher as required).
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Must be able to work overtime, weekends, or on-call as needed to support production or project deadlines.
Minimum of 5-7 years of industrial electrical experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Physical requirements include standing, walking, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working at heights.
Industrial manufacturing or processing plant environment with exposure to noise, heat, heights, and confined spaces.
High school diploma or GED required; technical school diploma or associate degree in Electrical Technology preferred.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for work orders and asset tracking.
Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license strongly preferred.
Proven track record of successfully managing capital projects and coordinating contractors.
