- Perform quality assurance observations and monitor the construction process to assure that roofing projects stay in compliance with approved construction drawings, specifications, and best-practice or warranty stipulated installation procedures
- Perform/assist with field performance testing and water leakage testing of roofing and waterproofing systems, windows, curtain walls, and other building elements
- Assist with/perform forensic investigations and documentation of existing conditions including wall claddings, windows, curtain wall systems, roofs, skylights, plaza waterproofing and below grade elements, etc.
- Prepare professionally written field reports
- Perform construction administration services and site visits

- Ability to observe work from ladders, boom-lifts, scaffolds, swing stages, roofs, etc.
- Ability to efficiently work on multiple projects, simultaneously, in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to perform office tasks and physical labor tasks
- Ability to travel frequently within and outside the local area, depending on workloads and project locations, estimate 25-50% travel time
- Registered Roof Observer (RRO) or Registered Roof Consultant (RRC)
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or other related degrees OR;
- Comfortable in construction settings and able to follow safety protocols; on-the-job training provided for building enclosure systems
- Learn to prepare sketches and details using Bluebeam and hand-drawn techniques
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Experience in Building Enclosure consulting/ building construction industry
- Consistent and professional interaction and communication
- Learn to perform building enclosure reviews of architectural drawings, shop drawings and submittals
- Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required
- Desire to learn building construction, roofing, and other building enclosure systems
- 4+ years’ experience in Building Enclosure consulting/ building construction industry in lieu of degree
