The Nurse Manager administers, directs, and coordinates all Pediatric Department activities, including scheduling of nursing and support staff for regular, after‑hours, and weekend coverage. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, training, mentoring, counseling, and completing staff evaluations, as well as establishing interdisciplinary care models and overseeing clinical systems and software.
CIFC Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center and a project of Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc., is seeking a full‑time Pediatric Nurse Manager / Registered Nurse (RN). The RN will collaborate with the Chief of Pediatrics to supervise clinical support staff—including RNs, LPNs, Lead Medical Assistants, and Medical Assistants—work directly with clinicians, and ensure quality patient communication, care, and efficient flow for pediatric patients.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), an active Connecticut RN license, and at least two years of supervisory and medical office experience. Bilingual applicants are encouraged.
