In this role you will oversee portions of larger construction projects, including pipe fusion and installation, extraction well drilling, construction of blower and flare station components, and installation of pumps and sumps. You will also assist in drilling operations, handle materials such as bentonite and gravel, and work in confined spaces to install gas, leachate and condensate piping.
You will operate heavy machinery such as rough‑terrain forklifts, excavators and backhoes, manage material inventory, review time‑cards and expense reports, and enforce health and safety requirements while maintaining daily project logs. Additional duties include tracking equipment, performing field sampling and data analysis, adjusting gas flow rates, and reporting findings to supervisors or clients.
The position requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience, prior oversight as a foreman or senior field technician, ability to travel 100% of the time, comprehensive knowledge of excavation and pipe‑installation practices, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Pay ranges from $31 to $36 per hour.
