Our Eastern United States design team is expanding, and we need a senior Design Manager in New York City to lead large‑scale Design‑Build projects across North America. The role focuses on Alternative Project Delivery (APD) projects, requiring experience on major APD contracts and the ability to deliver innovative designs on time and within budget. The manager will guide scope development, commercial performance, and client relationships to achieve project goals.
A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or a related field) and a valid Professional Engineer license are required. Candidates must have at least 15 years of relevant experience, including proven success as a Lead Design Manager on Design‑Build projects. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on high‑profile, complex projects is essential.
The incumbent must meet Parsons’ project‑management certification requirements and demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills. A thorough knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and current technologies is expected to drive smarter, more efficient project delivery.
