  • Serve as the technical advisor and provide senior-level input and evaluation of project development activities.
  • Establish or review budgets and schedules for remediation-related proposals.
  • Set quality review assignments and perform quality reviews for remediation-related projects.
  • Monitor progress on remediation-related projects and provide input into areas of concern and direction to enhance achievement of project schedules, productivity goals, budgets, and quality.
  • Support and assist in the development of a department Business Plan including development of forward-looking sales and growth strategies.
  • Advance and develop department tools and workflows to increase the efficiency of project execution.
  • Manage and grow key remediation accounts.
  • Assist remediation section staff with project setup in MIS, client/team coordination, billing/invoicing, change management, project closeout, etc.
  • Successful private and government marketing efforts include the development of clients and programs.
  • Provide administrative, supervisory and technical direction for Remediation Section personnel.
  • Assign work and review section staff performance to ensure quality and efficient, cost-effective utilization of staff.
  • Guide and direct professional development and assist staff in developing and achieving career goals involving technical, project management, and business development skill sets.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and business development teams in pursuit of key opportunities.
  • Monitor and maintain staffing levels, workload, and assignments to meet project requirements while maintaining utilization (UTE) goals for the Section.
  • Manage recruitment, career path development, training, mentoring, and retention of Remediation Section personnel.
  • Assist with and lead proposal efforts for private and government.

  • Bachelor's Degree in environmental studies, geology, engineering or related degree from an accredited program and 5 years of related professional experience.
  • Candidate must have experience with project management for a wide variety of client types (private commercial/industrial and state and federal government).
  • Candidates must be able to successfully manage all aspects of environmental projects within the ENS Global Practice, including an understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and project management tools.
  • Outstanding safety record on projects and proven leadership and attention to safety.
  • Position requires the ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change.
  • Must possess strong project management skills and a strategic perspective.
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
  • Demonstrate creativity, foresight and judgment in anticipating and solving problems.
  • Previous leadership and/or management experience is preferable.
  • Functional knowledge of the company’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Security Program.
  • Must be an expert in the use of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
