Description

The Pump Stations & Pipelines Business Class Lead will guide staffing, resource balancing, and utilization for business‑class projects, drive strategic plan initiatives and communications, and oversee technical development within the area. This role also organizes practice‑group participation and conducts project and quality‑control reviews.

• Manage business‑class project staffing, workload balancing, and resource utilization with project managers and delivery leaders.
• Lead strategic plan initiatives and communications for the business class.
• Oversee technical development within the business‑class area.
• Organize participation in practice groups and coordinate related activities.
• Conduct project reviews and quality‑control assessments.
• Recruit talent and serve as BGX Champion.
• Coordinate staffing with area market sector, project delivery, and professional services leaders.
• Facilitate involvement in area and regional professional associations.
• Maintain professional or engineering registration and relevant technical experience.
• Develop and manage diverse teams effectively.
• Collaborate with business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers on business initiatives.
• Actively engage in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR’s technical expertise and brand.

Requirements

We seek candidates with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or a related field and at least ten years of experience, along with professional registration, a proven track record of building diverse teams, and a commitment to HDR’s values and quality standards. Preferred candidates are actively involved in professional or industry associations that enhance HDR’s technical expertise and brand.
