  • Lead the EHS training program and digital tool utilization such as GE Learning / Gensuite DCP globally, coordinating cross-functionally to drive consistent application and implementation across the business.
  • Proactively partner and develop positive working relationships with cross-functional personnel.
  • Will lead the strategy to manage employee and contractor records (including training and similar documentation
  • Apply learning principles in the development of new EHS courseware.
  • Support the key deliverables and KPIs for the business as it relates to health and safety strategy and effectiveness of the EHS training program.
  • Support GE Vernova EHS business operation system (Framework).
  • Drive innovation and excellence with the development and incorporation of new learning technologies in the adult learning setting.
  • Coach and mentor regional EHS teams to build and deliver a robust EHS training programs.
  • Develop regional expertise on managing Learning System and Classroom Sessions according to GEV Corporate expectations
  • Develop EHS learning strategy and deployment across One Wind.
  • Partner with One Wind team to ensure appropriate technical and regulatory competency for EHS and operational team members.
  • Qualify and maintain approved EHS instructors per topic area across One Wind.
  • Remain current with and/or develop necessary understanding of EHS regulations and GEV EHS programs specific to assigned priorities and/or job scope.
  • Manage and deliver leadership training and “train-the trainer” sessions in a variety of formats, for example; both classroom and virtual settings and with simultaneous translators.

  • Field experience in a project / services environment, practical experience in risk management
  • Prior experience in Wind industry and/or energy industry fields
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate and drive change and interact cross-functionally
  • Trained to Global Wind Organization (GWO) basic safety standard
  • Remote and/or located in Madrid, Spain, Schenectady, NY or Greenville, SC
  • Confidently able to facilitate and deliver training and or presentations to a diverse audience
  • Experience working in or across different GE Vernova businesses
  • Ability to travel up to 25-30% of the time
  • Experience working with tools or developing training for a VR environment
  • Certified Environmental or Health and Safety professional
  • Strong working knowledge of GEV digital training management systems such as: ComplyWorks, GenSuite Applications, DCP/SGS/3S, etc.
  • Experience in adult learning and teaching principles
  • 5-7+ years’ experience with EHS training and strategy programs
  • Ability to influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal in a distributed global business structure
  • Additional language skills
  • High energy, self-starter
  • Related EHS expertise outside of primary responsibility, for example, Occupational Safety or Sustainability
  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or technical equivalent from an accredited college or university, or equivalent qualification
  • Medical fitness and ability to work at height per local and global standards
  • Fluent English with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of EHS core programs and requirements (regulatory and conformance)
  • Significant EHS training experience in a projects/service or fixed facility environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with competing priorities
  • Knowledge of EHS management systems
  • Able to coach and support key influencers to drive EHS compliance and the reduction of risk through team engagement and help develop an organizational culture that prioritizes EHS.
