Designer

Description

• Participate in project kickoffs, planning, and customer signoffs.
• Conduct fieldwork, including measurements and system assessments.
• Ensure final products meet requirements and drawings are accurate.
• Start as a designer, creating simple models and fabrication drawings.
• Update models and parts from the Vault as directed.
• Support the shop floor and work closely with fabricators and welders.
• Grow into full product design responsibilities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Autodesk Inventor.
• Ability to create part drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
• Experience in a fabrication environment.
• Associate's degree in drafting or equivalent.
• Proficiency in steel fabrication drawings, typically 1/4 inch or thicker.
• Experience working with BOMs, weld symbols, notes, and blocks.
