Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams across our two sites in Covent Garden and Acton Depot, working closely with key internal stakeholders – particularly Marketing, Operations and Visitor Services teams – to ensure that the family programme is visible, valued and integrated with the wider work of the Museum.
Commission and liaise with freelance creatives to develop learning opportunities.
Support the development of a Family Engagement Programme for the Museum’s family visitors (who compromise over 50% of our annual visitor numbers) linking to the Museum’s collections, exhibitions and programme of public events.
Deliver to planned budgets, working closely with Public Programmes and Events colleagues, to ensure programmes are delivered in a realistic and sustainable way.
Manage freelancers and volunteers to deliver the Family Programme as needed.
Develop activities for families that link to the wider work of the Museum, is visible to and valued by staff and other audiences.
Monitor and report on key KPIs, evaluating projects and programmes, and celebrating the impact of the Family Engagement Programme to inform its on-going development.
