Mechanical Design Engineer

Description

• Perform prototype testing and design validation.
• Conduct design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and reliability requirements.
• Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings using tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, CREO, or AutoCAD.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors for component design and manufacturability feedback
• Support product lifecycle activities, including design changes, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (electrical, manufacturing, quality, and procurement) to ensure design feasibility and compliance with standards.
• Create and maintain product documentation, including BOMs, drawings, and technical reports.
