The Chartered Accountant will oversee the company's financial operations, with a primary focus on project finance, financial planning, cost management, and statutory compliance. This role is critical for ensuring financial integrity, mitigating risk, and supporting strategic decision-making.
The position requires close collaboration with Sales Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Procurement, and senior leadership to ensure effective fund allocation, cost control, and alignment with organizational objectives, while safeguarding the company's financial and legal interests.
- Review tax filings, reconciliations, and manage compliance calendars.
- Oversee accounting operations including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Coordinate fund allocation for procurement and other operational needs.
- Develop management dashboards and analytical reports using Excel/Power BI.
- Manage working capital through efficient receivables and payables processes.
- Prepare and monitor cash flow statements and fund position reports.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing forex exposure on imported materials.
- Review key contracts (client, vendor, subcontractor) from a financial and risk perspective to safeguard the company's interests.
- Validate project-related costs including subcontractor bills, material purchases, and production expenses.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.
- Establish and monitor strong internal controls to prevent fraud, errors, and misappropriation of assets.
- Prepare project-wise profitability reports and present findings to management.
- Track client payments and ensure timely settlement to vendors and subcontractors.
- Implement a project risk register and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs).
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for all façade projects.
- Handle finalization of accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage banking relationships and negotiate terms for bank guarantees and working capital limits.
- Oversee the company's insurance portfolio, ensuring adequate coverage for projects, plant assets, and liabilities.
- Monitor project expenditures against budgets and analyze variances.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain complete and organized financial documentation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts and finance team.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data in ERP and accounting systems.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks specific to projects, such as cost overruns.
- Liaise with external consultants and auditors for timely submissions and query resolution.
- Design and implement a comprehensive framework for financial risk management.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations affecting the construction and manufacturing sector.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audit processes.
- Support project teams in client billing, variation orders
- Support digital initiatives for billing, project tracking, and financial workflows.

2. Financial Accounting, Reporting & Audit
- Comprehensive knowledge of Indian taxation laws and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in multi-project environments and cross-functional coordination.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- 4 -7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in construction, façade, or manufacturing industries.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Risk Management: Ability to identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Strong background in project accounting, cost control, and financial management.
- Familiarity with contract law, corporate law, and risk management frameworks.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
- High level of integrity and commitment to financial discipline.
- Legal Acumen: Understanding of legal terminology in contracts and the ability to work with legal counsel.
- Proficiency in project-based accounting and financial analysis.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
