Description

• Operate the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining a clean and safe truck.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip DVIR inspections, documenting any issues for corrective action.
• Immediately report unsafe situations, service calls, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to the Operations Manager or Dispatch.
• Participate in all required training, briefings, and meetings as directed by the Operations Manager.
• Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts.
• Assist other drivers as needed and follow route assignments, completing all required documentation at the end of the route.
• Dump containers, clean the customer site, and reposition containers correctly, ensuring lids are replaced and no blockage of driveways or traffic occurs.
• Communicate customer requests or issues promptly to Dispatch or the Operations Manager.

Requirements

The role involves safely operating a heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes. No prior experience or formal education is required, but a commercial driver’s license (Class B) and an acceptable driving record are mandatory, along with successful completion of pre‑employment DOT drug screening, physical, background check, and motor vehicle record review. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B), be at least 18 years old, and maintain an acceptable driving record.
