  • Interact with internal and external customers
  • Maintain positive customer relationship and provide real time customer centric solutions.
  • Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)
  • Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar equipment – mainly in a field environment
  • Work with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as required
  • Perform a wide variety of equipment repair diagnostics

  • Previous repair and troubleshooting experience with Caterpillar general line products would be considered an asset
  • Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset.
  • This position will work a 7x7 continuous shift (schedule subject to change based on work location)
  • Completion of Finning S-Levels, Failure Analysis, Machine Electronic Controls, or Tier 4 training would be considered an asset
  • Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
  • Travel is required throughout Saskatchewan
  • Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
  • Journeyperson HET certification - Red Seal preferred
