Business Development: Identify and progress opportunities across renewables, storage, hydrogen, and grid infrastructure.
Apply policy frameworks across diverse projects.
Operate independently and make impactful decisions with minimal supervision.
Market & Regulatory Insight: Track sector trends, technologies, and policy changes to inform investment strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, legal, finance, trading, and procurement teams for integrated project development.
Acquisition & Due Diligence: Lead due diligence and manage acquisition processes; maintain strong developer relationships.
Balance long-term strategy with day-to-day execution.
Opportunity Evaluation: Support commercial assessment of renewable and low-carbon projects (storage, solar, wind, dispatchable generation).
Stakeholder Engagement: Work with regulators, network operators, and planning bodies to support project delivery and influence policy.
Strategic & Commercial Support: Assess site viability, grid access, planning, financial models, and project risks.
Governance & Investment Cases: Prepare business cases and investment papers for senior decision-makers.
Market Intelligence & Representation: Monitor competitors and market dynamics; represent Centrica in industry forums.
