You will engage with key influencers such as specifiers, consultants, M&E contractors, and specialist merchants, driving solutions from early design stages through to on‑site completion. By leveraging your technical background, you will build a robust project pipeline, focusing on scheme development and repeat customer relationships.
Key duties include targeting commercial, industrial, and public‑sector opportunities, managing strategic customer accounts, and ensuring the adoption of Terrain products where appropriate. You will maintain the project pipeline with technical support, showcase the portfolio using CPDs and EPDs, provide on‑site technical assistance, keep accurate CRM records, monitor competitor activity, interpret site drawings and regulations, and negotiate profitable sales outcomes.
Essential experience comprises delivering technical solutions in complex built environments, a commercial mindset that adds strategic value, and a collaborative approach to win‑win customer relationships. Candidates must have a proven sales growth record over the past five years, strong time‑management and communication skills, experience selling multiple products, a full driving licence for nationwide travel, at least five years in technical sales (preferably construction), and proficiency with Office 365 and CRM systems.
Desirable qualifications include a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent and familiarity with CAD and BIM applications.
