  • Serve as the primary jobsite leader and point of contact for field teams
  • Communicate daily with Foremen, GS, and PM regarding progress, risks, and manpower needs
  • Monitor installations for compliance with QA/QC requirements, contract specifications, and code
  • Provide daily coaching, mentorship, and feedback to Foremen and crews
  • Decision-Making Authority: Assignment of crews, daily tasking, enforcement of labor plan, QA/QC compliance, and jobsite safety oversight
  • Utilize Lookahead, Production Trackers, trail Blazers and checklist to ensure as successful project
  • Track daily labor hours and production against budget
  • Development of Foremen and Journeymen into leadership roles
  • Oversee day-to-day field installation of electrical systems per drawings, NEC, project specifications, and Best Practices
  • On-time completion of assigned project phases
  • Ensure accurate documentation in Procore (observations, QA/QC, daily logs) and Bluebeam (markups)
  • Coordinate with PMs, GS, and Foremen to develop and maintain lookahead schedules
  • Identify risks impacting budget or schedule and escalate issues to GS and PM
  • Support onboarding of new field personnel and ensure integration into project expectations and Hays Ways
  • Enforce Hays Electrical safety policies, OSHA standards, and site-specific safety requirements
  • Represent Hays Electrical with professionalism in interactions with GCs, inspectors, and trade partners
  • Site Completion of all safety meetings, toolbox talks, Safety Inspections, JHA’s and site-specific training
  • Zero tolerance for unsafe acts; enforce daily compliance
  • Conduct daily jobsite safety meetings and toolbox talks
  • Enforce accountability for labor performance, quality, and safety
  • Ensure labor plans, WIP trackers, and production schedules are followed
  • Manage project startup activities, daily execution, and closeout deliverables
  • Address deficiencies immediately to reduce rework and ensure first-pass quality
  • Assist GS and PM in formulating recovery plans when projects fall behind
  • Manage and supervise Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices on assigned projects
  • Support accurate WIP reporting by validating field progress
  • Foremen reporting labor/productivity metrics consistently in alignment with Hays Cost Codes

  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and field production tracking tools
  • 96% accuracy of timecards, and WIP field updates
  • Strong communication skills with both field teams and external partners (General Contractor)
  • Ability to make decisions quickly under pressure while maintaining safety and quality at the forefront
