- Manage air permitting projects, including PSD, Title V, and SIP permits

TTL is seeking a Project Engineer / Environmental Compliance Professional for its Birmingham, AL office, with the possibility of remote or hybrid work within Alabama. The role requires 8+ years of experience in environmental permitting and regulatory compliance, focusing on air and water programs such as PSD, Title V, and NPDES. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable collaborating with regulatory agencies, clients, and internal teams.

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience supporting environmental permitting and compliance
- Demonstrated experience with air permitting programs, including PSD and Title V
- Demonstrated experience with NPDES permitting and compliance
- Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet regulatory deadlines
- Experience working with industrial facilities and manufacturing processes
- Direct interaction experience with regulatory agencies
- Professional certifications such as PE, CHMM, or REM (preferred)
- Experience with RCRA/EPCRA/TSCA compliance or industrial hygiene (preferred)
