Restock the counter area according to product brand and location
Maintain a clean and appealing counter display area
Continue education on latest updates to products through manufacturer schools, trade shows, tech schools, vendor meetings, trainings, trade journals, etc.
Write (and occasionally assist to fill) orders accurately and in a timely manner
Provide trouble-shooting and technical support
Identify and encourage the sale of additional products as applicable
Generate customer quotations and follow up on quotes requested
Work with other sales team members to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner
Assist customers in a professional manner with product inquiries
Serve as a primary facilitator for customer orders
Monitor product inventory and cull damaged product

A high proficiency with computers – experience in Eclipse or other ERP systems preferred.
Product and technical knowledge normally acquired in two or more years of college or technical school OR 3-5 years field experience in the residential/commercial applications of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) products.
A knack for active listening to determine customer needs and maintain strong relationships.
Excellent relationship building skills.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
