Demonstrable 2-4 years of civil nuclear or defence nuclear infrastructure experience.
Environmental Engineering: basic skills in assessing and mitigating environmental impacts, including waste management, exotic wastes and site remediation.
Regulatory Compliance: Awareness of local, national, and international regulations governing nuclear sites.
Radiological Safety: Awareness of radiological protection and legal obligations to protect workers, the environment and the public.
Solid communication and organisational skills.
A willingness to travel and spend time on client sites.
Degree or Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, Physics or Chemistry (or equivalent).
Systems Engineering: Understanding of integrating various engineering disciplines to ensure comprehensive solutions.
Ability to operate autonomously or as part of a team.
Nuclear Engineering: an awareness of nuclear physics, reactor operations, and fuel management.
Project Management: a basic understanding of what is required to manage and deliver a project.
Safety Case: awareness of nuclear Safety Cases and how they are produced or modified.
