- Provide information to update drawings and keep records of equipment for as-built documentation (submit all redlined drafting to application engineers).
- Advises construction manager or sales account manager of additional sales potential (both service and contract related)
- Complete assigned projects according to proposal, drawings, and specifications, cost estimates, customer expectations, and timeframes by effectively managing and executing contractual obligations in concert with LONG project management procedures.
- Assist the graphics coordinator and/or provide the labor and expertise for the preparation and delivery of graphical user interfaces when required for projects in accordance with LONG standards and contract documents.
- Direct engineering, preparation of submittals and installation drawings, selection, ordering and scheduling of materials, plus providing installations at the jobsite within the estimated costs indicated on the sales estimate.
- Advises construction manager and sales personnel regarding system deficiencies and/or customer complaints and advises appropriate building intelligence personnel
- Act as a technical resource to customers and field employees.
- Provide on-site assistance with or perform programming, start-up, checkout, commissioning, and validation processes. Participate in job site final walk-through, complete all job closeout documentation, and provide customer training.
- Develop and maintain procedures for the acceptance of completed work (i.e. checkout sheets completed and submitted, and checkout procedures followed).
- Always abides by all LONG Building Technologies and OSHA safety regulations
- Attend regularly scheduled on-site project meetings.
- Perform calibration and check-out of control systems, and ensure that systems are programmed and commissioned, as specified, and that installed equipment is controlled per the manufacturers recommendations and LONG standards.
- Informs customer of LONG service agreement availability while performing start-up, commissioning, and owner training tasks

- Possess good leadership, managerial, communication (written and verbal), and computer skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor.
- Ability to climb ladders and function at heights.
- This position may include sitting for extended periods, lifting, bending, and kneeling.
- Ability to prioritize workflow and self-direct daily schedule and tasks
- 4 years temperature control system start-up, checkout, and service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Available and able to coordinate warranty, after hour, emergency, and maintenance service on installed systems
- Able to perform a complete installation of the control system, and knowledge of construction procedures and Co State electrical requirements.
- Possess good organizational and planning skills
- Extensive knowledge of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management and smoke removal systems.
- Certification in project management is a plus
