Construct and maintain service equipment.
Prepare written materials (e.g., repair status, activity logs, work orders, etc.) for customers as well as supervisors to document job status and provide estimates.
Respond to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
Read electrical circuit diagrams.
Operate power hand tools and other specialized electrical equipment.
Install, repair, and service specialized electrical equipment and machinery.
Diagnose the cause of problems and/or failures in electrical systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs.
Maintain vehicle, tools, and equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability and safe operating condition.
Install, service, and repair lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets, and wiring.
Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of residential electrical systems in an efficient and professional manner.
Requisition material and supplies from stockroom, call vendors to discuss needs for parts and supplies, and recommend purchases and suppliers.
Participate in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars as assigned to gather information required to perform or enhance job functions.
Coordinate with other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must have positive points on state driving record.
