The Roof Lead works under the Crew Lead, providing leadership and technical expertise to installation teams, with a primary focus on re‑roof jobs and occasional solar PV installations.
- Lead installation crews, communicate job status to Crew Lead, and ensure safe work practices
- Perform re‑roof projects and assist with solar PV installations as needed
- Pull and manage inventory, document completions, and maintain clean job sites
- Assemble residential solar system components, handle trenching, concrete work, and mount racking and electrical equipment
- Use personal protective equipment and follow safety training and tailgate meetings

- High school diploma/GED and at least 1 year experience, including 6 months crew‑lead experience
- Electrical and roof‑racking experience required
- Ability to lift 50 lb frequently, climb ladders, work at heights and in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail, communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
- Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, lift, and perform repetitive motions for long periods
