What you would be doing

- Operate band saws to cut various materials to required size.
- Use a ruler, tape measure, or caliper to perform accurate measurements
- Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Updating item location and other inventory information
- Perform stretch wrapping of materials, if necessary
- Maintain accurate records of materials and ensure proper weighing when required
- Utilize blueprints and various job documents to kit jobs.
- Process Help Desk Phone Requests when necessary
- Maintain certification for operating material handling equipment
- Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules
- Operate various material handling equipment, including standup and sit-down forklifts, walkie-riders, and material tuggers
- Adhere to safety guidelines and practices, including 5S safety protocols
- Promote professionalism among associates and foster positive relationships with internal and external customers
- Process Help Desk Work Orders when necessary
- Follow written and verbal instructions to support production
- Locating items using inventory records
- Create containers for production purposes
- Record time accurately, including time and attendance and labor reporting using the data collection system
- Maintaining inventory count accuracy and item records for all parts and materials being stored
- Work any shift and work overtime, including daily, weekends, and holidays as required

- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Drive a car or other vehicle
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferably at least 1 year of forklift experience
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with other team members
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of inventory control systems and stockroom operations
- Ability to read and interpret instructions from a computer screen
- Basic math, mechanical, and electrical aptitude
- Computer and data entry skills. Microsoft Excel and Word experience
- Aptitude to read part drawings, blueprints, work orders, and to follow written procedures
- Preferably at least 1 year of experience in receiving procedures
