Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Description

• The role is primarily site based and will provide commercial support to the project teams on all projects for which they are responsible.
• Ensure that projects they are responsible for are administered effectively and that the business objectives in terms of appropriate commercial targets and customer focus are achieved with the support of the commercial team.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.
• Experience in commercial management.
• Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations.
• Good operational planning and time management skills.
• Ability to motivate self and colleagues to achieve high standards of compliance.
• Good management skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment contributing across the business unit.
• Proven Commercial experience working for a Main Contractor.
• Familiarity with JCT/NEC/ forms of contract.
• Knowledge of current Construction Law.
