Ensure that the Company project manager is accurately and fully informed of project status including progress, budget, and forecasting.
Review and understand the project proposal and pertinent documents.
Review and approve subcontractor invoices, vendor payment applications and miscellaneous invoices.
Ensure timely and accurate timesheets for all field personnel on site
Determine the best means and methods, including personnel, material, equipment and subcontractors to meet project objectives.
Represent the Company in daily interfaces with project owner.
Establish and maintain safety as the highest priority as part of the Company’s management philosophy.
Collaborate with Company project manager in the detection of scope change and the development and execution of change orders.
Lead the on-site project team in the construction of a safe, quality, and profitable project, completed in a timely manner.
Manage project field staff, including assigned support staff, superintendents, project general foreman, and assistants.
Enforce and adhere to all Policies and Processes as it relates to this position.
Organize, conduct and represent the company at project coordination meetings at regular agreed upon intervals.

Possess working knowledge of all projects plans, specifications, Owner Contract, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, drawings, submittals and all other project related documents.
Strong commitment to safety and leading by example.
Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge of all disciplines involved in the construction and commissioning of electrical substations.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
5 + years of experience managing electrical substation projects
Ability to coordinate numerous activities among all project stakeholders, including project owner, Company project manager, Company workforce, subcontractor teams, vendors, etc.
Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.
Self-motivated with skills to motivate others.
Strong computer skills.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
10 + years of relevant construction experience
