The Planning Associate will shape and deliver a diverse portfolio of TDM plans, including regional strategies, developer and employer‑based plans, and high‑profile projects such as the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic Games. Responsibilities include business development, leading complex projects, managing budgets and schedules, facilitating community engagement, and working with the TDM Programs team to assess Transportation Management Association performance.
Candidates must have at least six years of consulting or public‑entity experience, with three years in project management, and hold a bachelor’s degree in planning or a related field. Required expertise includes transportation demand management, public transit, or active non‑motorized transportation, strong project management and leadership abilities, and proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, and enterprise project‑management tools. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, staff supervision experience, knowledge of new mobility, and professional certifications such as AICP or TDM‑CP.
