Collaborate with other company departments to ensure streamlined communication and smooth operational coordination between the safety team and the broader organization.
Support the team by recommending hiring needs, assisting with onboarding, mentoring, training, and helping elevate the performance of safety staff.
Prepare, review, and update HASP, JHA, SWP, and other safety documentation for projects, clients, and company when requested.
Coordinate personnel coverage across sites, including scheduling, staffing adjustments, and ensuring appropriate field presence. Fill in when needed.
Support incident investigations and corrective action plans.
Build and maintain client relationships, serving as a responsive partner and trusted safety resource ensuring customer satisfaction.
Identify opportunities to improve current processes, forms, documentation, and workflows, and make recommendations that enhance efficiency, clarity, and safety performance.
Implement quality control program and conduct regular safety audits on active projects to ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements.

Possess expertise in NYC DOB, MTA, OSHA, and all relevant federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to think strategically, propose improvements, and implement new ideas across multi-site operations.
Leadership skills
OSHA 500 certification (or ability to obtain).
Be creative and have innovative ideas to grow the group, strengthen safety operations, improve reporting, communication, and execution.
Background in both public and private sector A/E/CM projects
