Billing Specialist

• Ensure compliance with contract terms and client requirements for assigned projects.
• Respond to internal and external billing inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
• Prepare and process all billing for the NYC division, including:
• Assist the CFO with additional financial or administrative tasks as needed.
• Partner with Project Managers to verify accuracy and timeliness of billing.
• Maintain complete and organized billing records for all projects.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Billing Specialist to manage all aspects of billing for our NYC division. This role requires accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with Project Managers and leadership to ensure timely and compliant billing. The Billing Coordinator will report directly to the CFO.

• Effective communicator and collaborative team player.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant construction billing experience, including familiarity with AIA billing formats.
• Experience with construction ERP/accounting systems preferred.
• Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and accountable.
• Strong knowledge of contracts and ability to apply contract requirements to billing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred).
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
