Ensure safe and constructable design solutions are delivered within authorised sums.
Ensure design solutions meet the requirements of CMDP+ governance procedures.
Leading a team of design managers and discipline design engineers in the detail design and construction/commissioning phase of projects.
Report on design progress and escalation matters at Monthly Project Reviews
Ensure Design Teams record, monitor and control design changes to maximise cost efficiency.
Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
Agree design budgets, monitor performance against the budget and provide forecast costs to completion for individual projects.
Ensure that standard designs and design practices initiated during the solution phase are continued through to delivery.
Ensure Supply Chain designs are successfully integrated into CMDP+ project solutions.
Ensure Design Teams deliver timely project close out documentation including As Built record drawings.
Coordinate both internal and Client Site Conformity Inspections across the Wastewater programme.

Able to identify and manage changes to project scope
Chartered Engineer in an engineering-related discipline
Technical and management skills
Experience in the Water Treatment Industry
Experience of working in Joint Ventures
