Technical Lead - Python/TypeScript

This is a hands-on leadership role, you'll be involved in key initiatives, lead by example, and play an active role in shaping both the team culture and the products we deliver.

As a Tech Lead in the RTA team, you'll work closely with the Product Owner and Designers to steer the technical direction of your squad. You'll set and evolve engineering standards, mentor developers, and ensure delivery excellence through high-quality, scalable software solutions.

• Lead the engineering squad, providing technical direction and people leadership
• Collaborate with Product and Design to shape and deliver the roadmap
• Ensure high-quality delivery through best practices and clean, scalable code
• Manage system health, technical debt, and delivery metrics
• Mentor engineers, promote knowledge sharing, and support career growth
• Collaborate across teams on architecture and solution design
• Drive technical planning, estimation, and execution of features and initiatives

• Strong collaboration and mentoring capabilities
• Proven experience leading engineering teams in agile, product-led environments
• Desirable: Experience with React or other modern web frontend frameworks, AWS CDK / DevOps, PostgreSQL.
• A passion for clean, maintainable code and scalable architecture
• Experience building and supporting cloud-based distributed systems
• Strong technical background in Python and/or Typescript for distributed, mission critical backend services
