Construction Chief Operating Officer

Description

This role will entail overseeing all of their offices and all of their projects, as well as being directly accountable for their vice presidents. It will also involve working very closely with the business development team to help spearhead new markets, but also to foster existing accounts to help the company achieve their goal of being a $1B+ contractor in the next 5 years.

• Maintain strong client, partner, and stakeholder relationships to support long-term business success.
• Foster strong new relationships (particularly in the data center and multifamily space) to help spearhead new markets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop senior operational leaders to strengthen company culture and succession planning.
• Be a key face of the company - attend conferences, strategic meetings, and be a vocal point of the community.
• Report directly into the President, with a long-term play of growing alongside the company.
• Develop and implement operational systems and processes to drive efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership and oversight of all company operations, offices, and construction projects.

Requirements

• Experience in data center construction.
• Minimum 5+ years spent at an ENR Top 100 GC.
• Strong continuous work and employment.
• Strong business acumen - able to cite BD wins.
• Experience leading individual projects $200M+.
• Prior experience in the D.C. metro area preferred.
