The role involves managing the pursuit process for smaller, less complex bids, assisting with larger, more complicated responses, writing and developing RFQ/RFP content, ensuring compliance, and keeping market sector teams informed of deadlines and interview logistics. Additional tasks include CRM data entry, editing, proof‑reading, and maintaining proposal templates and checklists.
- Manage pursuit process (qualifications, proposals, presentations) for smaller, less complex bids.
- Assist in developing response materials for larger, complex pursuits.
- Write and develop RFQ/RFP/RFB content ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Derive deliverable lists from RFP/RFQ specifications.
- Disseminate proposal deadlines, interview times, and locations to relevant parties.
- Perform CRM data entry for client, employee, project, and opportunity tracking.
- Provide editing and proofreading support for proposals.
- Coordinate and update templates, checklists, and boilerplate documents to maintain proposal quality.
- Uphold safety standards and promote safety across teams.
- Foster team collaboration and a positive, can‑do attitude.
- Apply DAVIS quality standards to produce accurate, reliable work.
- Actively market DAVIS services and seek new business opportunities.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, or a construction‑related field, have at least two years of relevant experience—preferably in construction—plus strong skills in MS Office, graphic and presentation software, technical writing, and proposal development. Effective communication, analytical problem‑solving, time‑management, and an understanding of the A/E/C industry are also required.

- Proficient with MS Office 2010, Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat, Prezi, and other presentation tools.
- Experience writing, editing, and proofreading proposals and technical documents.
- Strong decision‑making, research, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact at all organizational levels.
- Solid understanding of the A/E/C industry and technical writing.
- Experience with GSA proposal forms and government contract preparation.
- APMP and/or LEED accreditation (preferred).
