The Facilities and Maintenance Technician supports the local facility, assists the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) manager in compliance tasks, delivers according to the preventative maintenance program on all assigned machinery, performs proper diagnosis of any malfunctioning machinery, and installs new equipment and systems according to the engineering team’s guidance. This is a 100% on-site position located in Boulder, CO.
- Perform thermal inspections of electrical equipment utilizing an infrared camera.
- Supervise vendors to ensure safety policies are being followed and projects remain on plan.
- Will be required to be on-call on a schedule with the other maintenance technicians.
- Maintain accurate and thorough maintenance records.
- Operate shop equipment safely; including lathe, mill, drill press, welder, lifting hoists.
- Research equipment manuals and interpret engineering drawings to perform repairs.
- Contributes and participates in capital projects.
- Build, wire, and install electrical enclosures.
- Support with Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS), compliance, quality, and security tasks.
- Support manufacturing operations by responding to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner; including conveyors, pumps, cappers, fillers, labelers, environmental chambers, refrigerators, robots.
- Perform preventative maintenance, housekeeping & lubrication tasks.
- Print, program, and issue employee badges.
- Assists engineers with project work.
- Perform building and grounds maintenance and respond to facility issues, including being on call for emergency repairs as needed to keep the facility in good running order.
- Operate mobile equipment safely; including forklift and scissor lift.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and set up mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, piping and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems on manufacturing and facilities equipment.

- Fabrication, welding, and machining experience
- Ability and willingness to read documents and implement such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Possess initiative, able to work independently, is reliable and thorough.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Great attention to detail, takes pride in quality craftsmanship
- 2 years or more work experience in a manufacturing environment as a facilities or maintenance technician
- High school diploma
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Thermography certification
- Electrical certification
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and motor controls experience
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently at times
- Understand and follow Veolia safety policy and applicable standards; including lock out tag out (LOTO), personal protective equipment (PPE), hot work, elevated work, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70e, National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

● Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $30 - $36 USD
