- Receive and handle reports from Drivers regarding malfunctioning equipment.
- Support the installation process of taximeters and roof lights for new vehicles received from the Fleet department.
- Calibrate all taximeters on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and proper functionality.
- Coordinate with the Operations department regarding equipment upgrade requirements on vehicles and complete the upgrades within the set timelines and standards.
- Ensure taximeters are in working condition by conducting extensive testing and calibrating procedures to receive approvals from Transport Authority.
- Contribute to the identification of improvements of systems, processes and practices to enhance business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Carry out work instructions accurately to promptly address and repair inoperative devices.
- Prepare vehicle operations and utilization reports as per requirements, policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and respond to queries on electronic hardware installation matters.
- Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls.
