Territory Manager - Quarries & Construct

Description

Shape your future in a role that blends operations, customer leadership, and commercial accountability across quarrying and construction sites in Victoria and Tasmania. You’ll own day‑to‑day safety leadership, contract delivery, site organic growth, and operational execution, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective service to our customers while building strong relationships on site.

• Lead safe operations and team capability by driving in‑field activities in line with SHES policies and coaching site teams to maintain high competence and safety performance.
• Oversee end‑to‑end demand fulfilment, monitor DIFOT and tonnage performance, and conduct site reviews alongside customer demand planning and forecasting.
• Maximise utilisation, availability and security of assets while managing capital planning for sustenance and replacements.
• Build and develop high‑performing teams, ensuring motivation, skill development, succession planning and performance management for key roles.
• Manage customer relationships through business reviews and development meetings, identify business development opportunities, and oversee bids, contracts, invoicing, compliance and budget controls.

Requirements

• Bring 5+ years’ operations management experience in a manufacturing/technical environment, leading small to medium work groups.
• Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (frontline management postgraduate desirable).
• Demonstrate integrity, trust, courage, sound decision‑making, resilience, flexibility and a strong team orientation.
• Possess forecasting, asset planning, contract management and stakeholder engagement skills across multisite portfolios.
