Business Manager, CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers)

Description

The Business Manager will align resources with corporate and ESG strategies, manage budgets, profit projections, and business cases, and ensure ROI while representing Stepan’s capabilities to create value for customers.

• Align resources with growth and ESG strategies to ensure ROI.
• Develop and execute regional growth strategy for CASE, flexible foam, and powder resin segments.
• Lead the Business Strategy Execution Team for these product lines.
• Oversee budgeting, profit forecasting, monthly reporting, and business case ownership.
• Manage two account executives to maximize customer engagement, trade show presence, and new business acquisition.

Requirements

Candidates need at least eight years of experience in polyurethanes or the chemical industry, strong business acumen, cross‑functional collaboration skills, analytical and negotiation abilities, and a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred).

• Own P&L for Specialties Polymers business in North America.
• Minimum 8+ years experience in polyurethanes or chemical industry.
• Strong business acumen and metrics‑driven problem‑solving.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional, multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Excellent negotiation, decision‑making, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
