The manager will lead and mentor field employees, ensuring alignment with company goals and service standards, while reviewing daily project progress with foremen and field reports. Responsibilities include monitoring quality, safety, and training through site visits, dispatching calls to technicians, and maintaining a 24/7 on‑call status for service and emergency requests. The role also involves delivering lunch‑and‑learn presentations, building client relationships, and representing Flynn at industry events.
Operational duties cover preparing quotes and tenders for glazing maintenance, overseeing report preparation with photos and pricing, and managing invoicing and accounts receivable using Flynn’s custom app. The manager will maintain project schedules, conduct safety audits, and make strategic decisions regarding staffing, equipment, and fleet expansion.
The ideal candidate has 5‑10 years of progressive glazing experience in construction, proven leadership and supervisory skills, and the ability to build strong client and team relationships. An entrepreneurial mindset, excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD are required.
