Warehouse Specialist

Description

• Perform and participate in all responsibilities for inventory control specialist, order picker, steel kitter, and receiving
• Assist lead in operational management of team
• Participate in soft skills training when instructed
• Learn how to persuade, teach, and guide team members through their thought process to find positive solutions

Requirements

• Master how to create plans that will achieve end goals with guidance from lead and supervisor
• Good math, computer (Microsoft Office) and communication skills
• Ability to use strapping/banding equipment
• High motivation level, ability to multi-task and work well independently as well as with others
• High school education or equivalent (required)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Some leadership experience (preferred)
• Ability to work overtime depending on workload
• ERP experience (preferred)
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours per day
• Forklift driving experience required (certification process provided)
• Learn how to identify processes that are weak, missing or need adaptation
• Prior warehouse receiving experience (required), industrial setting (preferred)
• Lifting up to 50-85 pounds occasionally (with assistance)
