What You’ll Do. You’ll be part of the team that keeps automation projects moving by partnering with system integrators and manufacturers to ensure flawless operation. Responsibilities include supporting data center startups with on‑site mechanical, electrical, and control checks, leading startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems, and partnering with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on‑site. You’ll provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams, and work on travel rotation schedules such as 5‑on/2‑off, 10‑on/4‑off, or 14‑on/7‑off while gaining experience with large customers supported by the ProAutomated team.
For those who’d rather be on the move than behind a desk, we’re opening our 2026 hiring pipeline for curious, adaptable problem‑solvers who love travel, hands‑on work, and being part of a team that knows your name. If you can laugh through flight delays, figure things out on the fly, and enjoy solving complex problems, this could be a perfect fit. We believe in transparency, and our four‑week paid training prepares technically skilled individuals for the field. Success requires a basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and communication networking, so if you’re new to these areas, this role may not be right yet.
