What you would be doing

- Support and maintain infrastructure systems including virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), networking components, and storage solutions.
- Manage patching, updates, and system backups to maintain security and operational continuity.
- Monitor system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Exchange Online, Intune, and PowerShell scripting.
- Document systems, configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
- Lead and support cloud migration initiatives, ensuring security, reliability, and performance throughout the process.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the CIO on IT strategy and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
- Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support for escalated issues.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices
- Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, M365, Exchange Online, and Azure services.
- Configure and manage Azure Active Directory, including SSO, MFA, conditional access, and user provisioning.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience managing on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Proven success in leading or supporting cloud migrations (e.g., file servers, mail systems, applications).
- 4+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar IT infrastructure role.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery tools and processes.
- Experience with Intune mobile device management.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to resolving technical issues.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs).
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft technologies including M365, Azure AD,
- Familiarity with security tools and practices (e.g., endpoint protection, SIEM, compliance frameworks).
