Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple project stakeholders, interpreting their needs and identifying solutions
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs; intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Journeyman Power Line Technician certification
5+ years of experience working on industrial facilities projects
Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures as they apply to common construction processes
Proven ability to guide safe work practices in a high-pressure environment while maintaining project quality, schedule, and budget
Alberta-based is preferred but will consider qualified candidates from out of province willing to work on a rotational basis
Capable of anticipating constructability issues in complex situations and creating solutions in the construction plan and schedule
Solid understanding of current distribution power line construction practices
Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements
10+ years of transmission power line construction experience. Distribution experience is also an asset
Facilitation and mentoring skills; is able to move the team forward and resolve conflict situations as they arise
